The weekend started out splendidly on Friday morning with a class trip. I took my staff to the Mansion in May Showhouse in Morristown, NJ.
Attendance was wonderful and for such a good charity. This is first thing in the morning!
The Allen Family began construction of this grand tudor estate modeled after an english castle in 1914. The property, on the edge of a wooded glen was aptly named Glynallyn.

and business leaders who built grand mansions along what was nobly
hailed as Millionaire’s Row on Madison Avenue.

The grounds were stunning in an ancient forest of beech trees
Pictures were not permitted inside, so we got one peeking in. Look at the gorgeous plaster ceiling!
